Hayley Healey

Experience/Education:

As a little girl and throughout my teenage years I was involved in many different competitive sports, with the consistent thread being sprinting and dance. During my early years, I also became aware that many people don’t feel comfortable being in and moving their bodies. With the love, respect and interest of the body, I attended the University of Oregon pre-med program. Having a personal life path change of family and children, I returned to teaching dance with the sole-heart intention of helping people understand and feel good moving in their bodies.

I’ve since become co-owner and creator of Carpe Diem with my husband Shawn, and have and continue to travel extensively in the US developing my skills with Pilates. I have had extensive training through Polestar Pilates Education, receiving Studio and Allegro certifications, as well as an Advanced Spine certificate. I have even had the privilege of attending workshops conducted by Pilates elders that were trained by Joseph Pilates himself. My main passion at Carpe Diem has been developing the Carpe Diem Allegro Program from a concept to the its full form. I am very proud of the success of this program and the countless number of clients that have been helped by taking part in the Carpe Diem Allegro Program.

Philosophy:
I feel that my true path is to educate and develop people’s awareness so they can gain control in order feel more comfortable in their bodies. My way of facilitating this is through Pilates.

Specialty:
The Carpe Diem Pilates Allegro Program and small group progressional programs.
