Carpe Diem CoreAlign

CoreAlign unit was created to enable natural flowing full body exercises with independent limb training. As the first studio in the country to offer CoreAlign classes, we're excited to offer our clients this new way to maximize your potential. Some key benefits of CoreAlign:

  • Upgrade full body movement ability while focusing mainly on standing positions and movements.
  • Facilitate a functional blend of posture, strength, flexibility, control, and body orientation in space.
  • Reorganize and upgrade the relevant movement components to reach the deepest layers of movement foundations, and challenge the boundaries of harmonious movement.

CoreAlign is a training system designed to align your body to an optimal and harmonious movement state with an emphasis on “core” musculature and postural organization.  The equipment consists of a wall ladder to hold onto and assist in various exercises and the CoreAlign unit itself.  The CoreAlign unit consists of a 2 foot by 5 foot frame with two standing carts that run parallel to each other with the assistance/resistance of exercise tubing that attaches to the frame.  By varying the configuration of tubing strength and orientation of the body relative to the CoreAlign unit, hundreds of exercises can be performed.  Through the CoreAlign movement concepts and the challenging of movement in the standing position, we very quickly bring to the surface our weak links and compensatory patterning.  In a sense we open a Pandora’s box to our body.  By addressing the CoreAlign 5 phases of movement in standing position and by completing each exercise fully, the weak links that are recognized, retrained and reorganized cause the patterns to become stronger.  By progressing through the CoreAlign movement modes, our body “memorizes” better alignment and becomes stronger and more functional. From this stronger and more functional alignment, we will perform better whether we are looking to just stand up with better balance and posture or are a highly competitive athlete.
